Honoring a Legacy: HSS Akingam Celebrates Retirement of a Dedicated Leader Mr. Ali Mohammad Khan

 

The retirement of a dedicated individual is always a significant event, especially in the context of an educational institution.


HSS Akingam organized a farewell program bidding adieu to Mr Ali Mohammad Khan Sahib, the respected DDO of the institution, who is set to retire on 31st March 2024. This program was a heartfelt tribute to Khan's years of service and leadership at the institution.


Under the patronage of Mohammad Abass Rather, Head of Institution, the event encompassed a series of emotional speeches, acknowledgments, and the launch of the "HSS Akingam" school app and website.

The program commenced with anchors Mujeeb ur Rehman and Sajad Ahmad introducing the schedule and setting the tone for the event. Following this, a solemn session of Tilawat Quran and Nati Nabi (PBUH) provided a spiritual start to the event. Mohammad Abass Rather then welcomed the esteemed guests and shed light on Mr. Khan's unwavering dedication, emphasizing the void his retirement would create in the institution. Subsequently, staff members presented bouquets to Mr. Ali Mohammad Khan, symbolizing their gratitude and respect for his service.

Senior Lecturer Mohammad Auyub Dar then delved into the life history and notable achievements of Mr. Ali Mohammad Khan, while several faculty members including Senior Lecturer Mr. Mohammad Yousuf, Senior Lecturer  Mr. Fayaz Ahmad Attar, Mr. Khursheed Ahmad Mir, Mr. Mohammad Ishaq, Dr Aejaz and Mtr. Masooda jee praised Mr. Khan's virtues of honesty, dedication, and hardworking attitude. They highlighted his exceptional leadership qualities, guidance, and the profound impact he had on students, parents, and colleagues alike. The speakers also lauded Khan's guidance, support, and exceptional leadership qualities that have left an indelible mark on the educational sector. In a particularly touching moment, Mtr. Masooda jee expressed her sentiments, speaking publicly on a stage for the first time in her 24 years of service to honor Khan's influence and mentorship.

The speakers collectively extended their heartfelt gratitude towards Mr. Khan for his years of service and commitment to education. They underlined the far-reaching influence he had, touching numerous lives within the school community. Wishing him a retirement filled with warmth and kindness akin to what he shared with others, the event exuded sentiments of appreciation and fond remembrance.

An important highlight of the event was the launch of the "HSS Akingam" school app and website by Mr Ali Mohammad Khan himself. The technological advancements were orchestrated by Ishfaq Ahmad Bhat, a dynamic lecturer at the institution. This digital initiative was a testament to the institution's progress and innovation. The app, designed and developed by Ishfaq Ahmad Bhat, a young and dynamic Lecturer from the institution, is set to be available on the Play Store in the first week of March 2024.

 In his speech, Mr. Khan recounted various experiences from his formative school years to his impactful principal ship. He motivated students and staff alike, urging them to nurture confidence to scale the heights of success. Responding to a poignant gesture on the wall expressing 'we miss you,' Mr. Khan reciprocated the sentiment, stating that he too would miss everyone dearly.

The ceremony wrapped up with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Maskoor Ahmad, who congratulated Mr. Khan on his retirement and expressed appreciation to the guests for gracing the occasion with their presence. He extended gratitude to those who contributed to the success of the event. Special appreciation was directed towards Mr. Ishfaq Ahmad for spearheading the digital initiatives for the institution. Dr. Maskoor also thanked the audience comprising students and staff for their participation and patience throughout the event.

 The ceremony drew to a close with the presentation of gifts to Mr. Khan from the school administration, marking the conclusion of a poignant and memorable event.

It is to be noted that the ceremony held in advance considering the forthcoming examination schedules and prevailing weather conditions. It was a dignified and sentimental event that underscored Mr. Ali Mohammad Khan's invaluable contributions to HSS Akingam in Particular and Education department in General, leaving a legacy that will be cherished by all who had the privilege to work alongside him.

As Mr. Khan Ventures into retirement, his impact and influence will undoubtedly resonate within the walls of the institution, serving as a beacon of dedication and excellence for generations to come.
