The program featured insightful speeches by students and culminated in a vibrant rally through the streets of Akingam, where students chanted slogans advocating for a tobacco-free world.

The event began with an assembly in the school Premises, where several students took to the stage to address their peers. Each speaker highlighted different aspects of tobacco's detrimental impact on health and society.

One of the student emphasized the severe health risks associated with tobacco use, including lung cancer, heart disease, and respiratory illnesses. Alarming statistics were shared about the number of deaths caused by smoking annually, urging classmates to avoid tobacco to lead healthier lives.

The another student spoke about how tobacco addiction can lead to significant economic burdens on families and society. The discussion highlighted the costs of medical treatments for tobacco-related diseases and the loss of productivity due to illness and premature death.

The other students discussed the dangers of second hand smoke, particularly for children and non-smokers. The emphasis was on how being around smokers can still expose individuals to harmful toxins and increase their risk of developing health problems.

After the speeches, the students organized a rally from the school to the Main Bazaar of Akingam. The rally saw enthusiastic participation, with students carrying banners and placards adorned with anti-tobacco messages. They chanted slogans like "Say No to Tobacco, Yes to Life!", "Be Smart, Don't Start!", "Choose Health, Not Tobacco!", "Tobacco Kills, Quit Today!", "Healthy Lungs, Happy Life!" to capture the attention of the community and spread their message far and wide.
